If this was your last day of life, what would your biggest regret be?
People die with all kind of regrets.
You don’t want to be one of them. You want to live your life with fulfillment.
What are the things people regret the most before they die?
The things people have done? Or the things they didn’t do?
Remember, no life will ever be completely clear of regret. Failed relationships, missed opportunities, poor judgment calls.
But you can make sure you’re keeping far away from them.
Today we’re going over things people regret the most before they die so you can do your best to avoid them and live your life
with full potential.
5 Things People Regret the Most Before They Die:
1. I wish I had cared less about what other people think.
Have you fallen into this trap?
A lot of people have including me.
Everyone has their best interest.
We should stop judging ourselves.
Everyone has their opinion. These opinions are from those who don’t fully share your reality.
So stop wasting your time on other people’s opinions.
2. I wish I had faced my fears.
If you asked me, I would say this is the biggest regret of my life.
I’m sure it’s the same for you.
People don’t regret things they have done. People regret things they didn’t do.
We should ask ourselves, ‘’Why are we so scared? What are we feared about?’’
And the answer is, again, we fear what other people think.
As you see, we have to eliminate the first regret before we move on.
Fear is only temporary, but regret lasts forever.
Step out of your comfort zone.
Face your fears, and you will accomplish anything.
3. I wish I’d stopped chasing the wrong things.
This one is huge.
Most of the people work 9-5 jobs. Most of the people complain that they are not happy with their life because of their jobs.
Have you heard this saying, ‘’Follow your passion?’’
Well, it might be true, but I’m offering something better for you.
Take Myers Briggs test. I’m sure it will help you out a lot.
Don’t follow your passion. With a life or career decision, people should base their decision on their strengths
Managing Oneself by Peter Drucker is one of the best books I’ve ever read.
“Successful careers are not planned. They develop when people are prepared for opportunities because they know their strengths, their method of work, and their values.”
― Peter F. Drucker, Managing Oneself
4. I wish I had spent more time with the people I love.
Health, wealth, love, and happiness.
These are the four pillars of good life.
If you rate your life from 1 to 10, how good are you in relationships?
I understand, the way you feel, it’s hard to get true friends.
But this is the are you have to fix.
Cut out the losers and add winners in your life.
Go out with people.
Even if you say that you’re introverted, do it anyway.
I’m introverted, so? I don’t care!
You see, this is one of the things people regret the most before they die.
You have to fix it! Do it for yourself.
5. I wish I could have felt happier.
People struggle with this a lot.
What’s the cause of it?
Again it’s health, wealth, and love.
Avoid all of the previous regrets, and you will be happy.
Sometimes people aren’t motivated enough, and that’s why their not happy.
If you’re not motivated, the idea doesn’t matter.
If you’re not motivated, you’re not gonna wake up and take action.
